Ysa's name means "rainbow" in her father's native language of Chamorro. Her name is perfect for her because she is one of the most bold and colorful people that I've ever met. She is a big supporter of LGBT, BLM and human rights, all around. I love that she is so fearlessly passionate about all of these causes. Ysa is also a writer. She and her friends are collaboratively writing a novel. What a cool concept! They call their group "The Council". Our giant set of books were perfect for this!
