Last year was filled with challenges and struggles ππ for Madelyn. She was bullied so badly that they had to pull her from her public school and send her to private school. A group of kids told her to unalive* herself π, saying they all decided the βbest wayβ for her to do it was to h*ng herself. This took a deep toll on her self-esteem and made her question her worth. She even started to believe the world might just be better off without her ππ.
Madelyn was self-conscious about her height and was afraid of putting herself out there, fearing rejection. It has taken her a while to understand that being her authentic self π¦β¨ is a non-negotiable, regardless of how others receive her π.
Before starting the Fearless Spirit Model Crew πΈβ¨, Madelyn felt like she hadnβt found her βthingβ yet π€·ββοΈ. Her sister had discovered horseback riding, but Madelyn hadnβt found her own focus yet.
When I first met her, she saw the aerial silks πͺ’ hanging up in the studio and was instantly interested in learning them. She said, βI want to fly!β π¦
π« She also shared that she loves anything related to World War II πβοΈ. So, I suggested we do her photoshoot at the Military Aviation Museum ποΈβ¨ with (my favorite!) a P-40 Warhawk airplane π©οΈ with the cool shark teeth. Itβs from World War II!
Madelyn loved helping out during the model crew photoshoots π·π€. She would always leap up and say, βIβll help!!β πͺβ¨. When we did a photoshoot with the aerial silks πͺ’, she was so excited to show the girls how to do some aerial poses. Sheβs a natural! πβ¨
