WHAT DOES MY SESSION INCLUDE?

A journey to a galaxy far, far away. Seriously, your session will include a trip to the costume room and a galactic experience that will be captured photographically by award-winning Photographer, Casey Scalf.  You will have the opportunity to purchase the images, artwork utilizing the images, digital files and gifts featuring the images after the event.

HOW ARE THE SESSIONS DIFFERENT?

Dark Side/Light Side Join the Dark side and walk the deck of the the Empire's Galactic battle Station or complete your Jedi training on the Forest Moon. Single person experience on one set for one person

The Saga 

Travel the galaxy with stops at both the Dark and Light side sets. Designed for families, siblings and friend groupings. The Saga is up to 30 minute session for 1-5 people. Be any character you desire or bring your own costume. Visit both the Light and Dark Side stations. Includes potential for custom art poster. This session includes an epic battle with Darth Vader!

This depends on the session. It is our desire that this is a fantastic experience that you will remember for a long time and a great way to do that is with images. While we can not guarantee a certain number of images, we will have different poses, groupings and looks for each session that follows a storyline that makes sense with your character. If you wish to have a greater selection of images, consider scheduling the Saga. Note: No images or digital files are included with the session. They can be purchased during your private viewing session.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO PAY?

Storybook Studios specializes in custom wall art and home decor. We are not your typical photography studio (i.e. JCP, Portrait Innovations, etc). Our goal is to provide you with heirloom treasures, to be passed down through generations. We offer A La Carte prints that start at $85 and print collections that start at $500.


DO YOU OFFER A CD WITH ALL OF THE PORTRAITS?

While we do offer digital images, we believe in creating true art pieces that won't be forgotten in a desk drawer and lost forever. We care about your portraits being around for generations. That being said, we do offer digital files in our digital packages, starting $500 for social media digital files.

WHAT ABOUT CHARACTERS WITH A HELMET?

Every character took off their helmet at some point in time and they will here as well.  Don't worry, we will get some images with sparkling eyes.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "ARTWORK?"

Storybook Studios is a full service studio that specializes in portrait art. With this event, we will be utilizing various levels of artistic vision to create unique pieces for you.  That may mean that Casey takes an existing scene and enhances it, that she photographs you against a gray paper and then paints a scene around that or...we don't know what she might create.  Special Media/Theatre room posters will be customized with your photos. 

DO YOU HAVE LIGHT SABERS?

Absolutely! If your child did the Jedi Academy at Disneyland or Disneyworld, they are the same ones that they used there. If you didn't get up at the crack of dawn, fight through the lines and crossed your toes just right to have your kids be ones selected to go on stage, don't worry. They will get an awesome experience here--with even better images.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

We have a wide variety of costumes in several sizes for you. Each character will have a few special requirements to make the scene the most believable. We have suggestions on our costume page of this website.  We do request that you wear an undershirt or a cami for your own comfort. NOTE: Shoes and boots are not included with the costumes. Inexpensive solid color rain boots in black or brown make great boots. If you have any questions, just feel free to ask.

CAN I USE MY OWN COSTUME?

Yes. While we do have many costuming options available, you are welcome to bring your own.  Choosing a side does not limit your character choice. Space Days is designed so that all costumes and sets work together, regardless of your allegiance. Heck, Even droids are allowed. CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?

It's strange. The moment you put a camera in your hands, you start to lose connection with the events around you. You capture it, but you don't experience it. We don't want you to miss out on anything. You just get to laugh, relax and live the dream happening around you.
