This idea came from a mixture of ideas...Old-world masterpiece paintings, modern 3-D art, wanting to teach them to think "outside of the box" of what art can be...and a wish to show these girls that THEY are the MASTERPIECE. I cut up pieces of canvas and used a pour technique with different acrylic paints to create 8 different "dresses". I let them (mostly) dry overnight and I made them into dresses when the girls got there in the morning. Therefore, making the girls into the pieces of art. The last one in the video is actually made out of a tutu and tulle fabric. Then, we placed them into the 3-D Frame. In Photoshop, I created the walls that would help make the illusion of them in a frame, up on a museum wall.
