Fearless Spirit Testimonials

The Fearless Spirit Model experience has left a lasting impression on our entire family! When our daughter was little, she was full of light and self confidence; she was so sure of herself and we always admired her tenacious spirit. Somewhere along the way, as she grew into the teenaged years, she lost so much of that spark and self love that we had always admired. She began hiding herself behind baggy clothes and stopped any effort to make new friends or try new things; she spent the majority of her spare time isolated from the family. When this modeling opportunity arose, I felt such a strong pull at my heart strings to do whatever I could to make this happen for her. The verbiage that caught my eye, in Casey’s email, spoke about young girls who felt ‘less than’ or who’d experienced bullying or had such a negative self image they began closing themselves off, and I knew that this was so much more than a ‘Glamour Shots’ session.

After a heart to heart, our daughter agreed to give it a try and acknowledged that she was feeling like she couldn’t measure up to her peers, physically or mentally, and that this may help her confidence. We jumped in and after our first session we began seeing the changes we prayed for; she was smiling more, holding her head a little higher, shedding the hoodie and becoming more engaged in family conversations. Casey is so encouraging throughout each session and the other FSMC girls begin to support each other with that same spirit of positivity. Each young lady is so different from the other, but they all hide inner scars from their life-experiences and they begin bonding over similar hurts, (bullying, eating disorders, low self esteem, etc) and the differences they had soon become irrelevant.

This experience taught our daughter to not only see herself through our eyes, but to also see others as warriors, each going through private and unseen battles, and all deserving of love and respect. We are so proud of how far our girl has come and we are forever grateful to Casey and this Fearless Spirit program for fostering an environment filled with love, acceptance and community. I promise you, this will change your daughter’s life in such beautiful ways, that it will rub off on anyone who knows her! "When I heard about the fearless Spirit project that Casey created I asked if she had additional openings for my daughter. I was elated when I found out that she did. My daughter was older than most of the girls but her self-esteem was similar to the other girls.  She couldn't find her happy as a result of the constant bullying and what she thought of herself. As a result of believing negative thoughts the bullies were placing in her head she believed she was ugly, she believed she could not do anything to make a difference, and she believed that she was less than what she was really worth. I would make her say affirmations everyday. She thought they were silly but when they were paired with the unique and beautiful pictures that Casey took Haley began to believe. She believed that she was beautiful and she could make a difference in this world and she began realizing her worth. Casey took amazing pictures and showed these girls through photographs that what they believed about themselves wasn't true. This is very unique experience allowed my daughter to become happy learn to cancel out the loud noise that we tend to tell ourselves and it helped her ignore the bullies and stand up for herself. I have not seen her this happy in a very long time and I owe a large part of it to The Fearless Spirit experience that Casey provided."

Being on the Fearless Spirit Model Crew was the best time of my life. We had so much fun. Before Model Crew I was fat shamed, called names, and I was depressed. I didn't feel that I showed it and I just kept my feelings to myself. I didn't say anything to anyone on our first meeting, I was scared to show my face. In school I was shy but now I feel like I can do anything. I feel beautiful and I feel like me. Casey showcased all of the girls and their true beauty. Casey was supportive of all the girls. The girls were shy at first but in the end, we all were best friends. We loved helping each other out, we loved throwing hair and fabric. We all loved Casey for letting us see how beautiful we all were. Now we all love who we are and I just have one more thing to say. You might not think it but you are beautiful!

Casey is a true genius at photography.  She can come up with ideas that you don't see in other types of professional photography.  She truly made my daughter Madison, who was called names and fat shamed,  see just how beautiful she really is.  This experience made my daughter more confident and her feeling like she could tackle anything in life.  I could never thank Casey enough for the impact that she had on Madison.  We definitely will being using her again and again for our pictures.  Fearless Spirit Model Crew is an experience for any young girl whose faced bullying in their lives.  The impact that Model Crew has is monumental in not only the girls life but their families as well.  I highly recommended that you give your daughter this experience because the impact... there's just no price on what it will do.
